Nadine is passionate about the role in-house legal plays in actively supporting the execution of strategy, identifying potential legal issues and finding appropriate ways to address them.
She has a keen interest in new technologies, innovation, investment, and IP. She brings 20+ years’ experience in private practice, in-house and as an academic to her current position as General Counsel & Company Secretary at IP Group Australia.
Nadine started her career at King & Wood Mallesons in Melbourne before moving to IP firm Rouse & Co International in London. Prior to joining IP Group in 2018, Nadine spent 8 years in-house at Telstra Corporation Ltd where she specialised in M&A, finance, corporate governance, technology and IP.
Nadine holds a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Deakin University, Master of Laws from University of New South Wales, and is a Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has undertaken research and lectured at Deakin University and is the co-author of two legal text books.
